What We Do
Cabinet painting is one of the highest-impact upgrades you can do to a kitchen, and it costs a fraction of what new cabinets run. But it's also one of the easiest things to screw up. Cabinets take more abuse than any other painted surface in your house. They get opened and closed dozens of times a day, they deal with grease, moisture, heat, and contact with hands and dishes constantly. A regular wall paint job won't survive that. Cabinet work requires a completely different approach.
We remove all doors, drawers, and hardware before we start. Everything gets cleaned, deglossed, sanded, and primed with a bonding primer specifically designed for cabinetry. Then we apply multiple coats of a hard-curing finish that can actually handle kitchen life. We're not rolling latex wall paint onto your cabinets and calling it done. The products and process matter here more than almost any other painting project.
The result is a kitchen that looks completely different for a fraction of the cost of a full remodel. New cabinets can easily run $15,000 to $30,000 or more depending on the kitchen. Professional cabinet refinishing gets you that fresh, modern look for significantly less while keeping your existing layout and box structure intact.
